by Apex GradingCommunity rules
The Slab Room is run by Apex Grading Company for trading card collectors. These rules keep it a place people want to be.
1. 18+ only
You must be 18 or over to join. Accounts we believe belong to someone under 18 are closed.
2. Keep it about cards
Pulls, slabs, grading, sets, collecting, prices, the hobby. No politics, no unrelated promotion.
3. Be decent
Disagree about grades and companies all you like — no harassment, hate, threats or pile-ons.
4. No scams, no deals off the books
Buying and selling isn’t part of The Slab Room yet. Don’t ask people to DM, pay by “friends and family”, or move to another app to trade.
5. Real photos only
Don’t post edited slabs or fake certs, or claim a card is Apex graded when it isn’t. The ✓ Apex Verified badge only appears for real Apex certs — report anything that looks off.
6. Keep personal details private
No addresses, phone numbers, emails or anyone else’s private information — including your own.
7. Nothing sexual, violent or illegal
This is a hobby space.
8. No spam or fake accounts
One account per person. No bots, repeated posts or engagement farming.
How we enforce them
Every post is checked automatically when it’s posted; anything that might break the rules is held until a moderator looks at it. Anyone can report a post or member with the ⋯ menu. Moderators review reports every day and may remove posts, warn members or close accounts. Every decision is recorded. If you think we got it wrong, email hello@apexgradingcompany.com and a different person will review it.
